Bible Study & Worship for All 7:00 pm - this is a highly recommended service for new converts or anyone interested in asking questions about Jesus Christ and the Bible, as this is an open session of study and all can participate comfortably. Asking questions is how we learn, no need to feel or be embarrassed, just ask.

The 2023/2024 Quiz Bowl Competitions are Underway

The 2023/2024 Quiz Bowl Competitions are underway. This year; Lillee Detty has a partner on her team; Beka Triolo.

As you recall last year; Lillee was a one girl team and still managed to come in second place overall. In last nights first competition the girls placed 2nd in Bible Verses & also 2nd in Sword Drills. Congratulations to both of you girls.

Round 1 (Oct 2023): 2nd - Bible Verse & 2nd Sword Drills

Thanks again to Kathy & Jerry Bruning for their dedication to coaching these fine young kids who have a passion for learning all that they can about our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Come out and watch and support these girls; Kathy will announce each contest time, location and date; it doesn't take much time and you will really enjoy watching the kids compete AND above all else; you will also learn something about Jesus and the Bible.

Round 2 (Mon Nov 20, 2023): 2nd place in Sword Drills & 3rd in Bible Verse

Round 3 (Mon Dec 18, 2023) Lillee Detty takes 2nd place Sword Drills

Round 4 (Mon Jan 15, 2024) Lillee & Beca take FIRST PLACE in Bible Verses and 2nd place Sword Drills

Round 5 (Mon Feb 19) The Hilltop Team takes 1st Place overall tonight, and individually: Lillee & Beca take 2nd in the Sword Drill, and Vinny took 3rd in Junior Sword Drill.

Round 6 (Mon 18) The Hilltop Team takes 2nd Place overall tonight, and individually: Lillee & Beca take 2nd in the Sword Drill, and Vinny took 3rd in Junior Sword Drill.

Round 7 (Mon Apr 15) The Hilltop Team takes 2nd Place overall tonight, and individually: Lillee & Beca take 2nd in the Sword Drill, and Vinny took 3rd in Junior Sword Drill, and as you can see, the HTMC Team walked away with a very fine recognition award called the 'Christ-Like Conduct Award'. Congrats to all three kids.

So up next is the OLYMPIC QUIZ competition on Friday May 10 7PM at the Welcome Home Church in Lucasville. Please come support these kids they do so well for just a three person team, they are awesome kids!!

Brazos De Jesus Project in Honduras

This is a fund raising project with Melissa Donahue leading the way. The money collected from the monthly Penny March goes towards fulfilling this $1000 goal.

Purpose: Brazos de Jesus is a very small school located on the edge of a garbage dump in Honduras; this is an extremely impoverished area that is in need of basic necessities, so Melissa created this project to help this school get these basic supplies to help educate the very poor children that attend the school.

Another excellent morning and evening of service & worship with Pastor Mike Leslie. We want to also mentioned that Kathy and her youth group went and sang Happy Birthday to Donna Oyer just a few houses down the road; we also had Pastor Mike's parents sing for us in the morning service and then Kandra Smith sang for us in the evening service. We thank the wonderful crowd that attended each service, AND also we want to mention that the Project Brazos De Jesus Honduras officially reached its goal this morning during Penny Marchwith over $1200 that can now be sent to help educate the very poor and underprivileged children in that city.
